During her free time, Dr. Penafiel enjoys watching movies, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three beautiful children. She is a parishioner at Our Lady of the Field Catholic Church in Millersville, Maryland, and an active member of numerous Filipino organizations in the community. She is very fond of pugs and is always learning new skills and hobbies.
Experience
Dr. Penafiel completed her general practice residency at Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She regularly takes continuing education courses to keep up with the ever-changing world of dentistry. She donates her time by serving the Mid-Maryland Mission of Mercy, Stanton Community Center Dental Health Clinic, and other community organizations.
Dr. Penafiel is an active member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontics Honor Society and the Gorgas Odonatological Honor Society. She also served as vice president of her dental school class at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Dr. Zbin proudly spent her childhood in Cleveland, Ohio, before completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!). After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology, she attended Marquette University School of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). In her free time, Dr. Zbin enjoys being outdoors with her Goldendoodle, reading with her book club, and traveling with her partner, Evan.
Experience
Dr. Zbin is an Invisalign Silver Plus provider and is certified in Botox and dermal fillers from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She has extensive training in root canal therapy, oral surgery, and implant restoration.
Dr. Zbin is an alumnus of the University of Dayton and Marquette University. She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Doctor Mastership Program, and Women in Dentistry.
